Have a great holiday 4P

Thank you Mrs Gioiello for being a wonderful and supportive class parent!

Dear 4P students and parents

I wish to thank you for your commitment to learning and the wonderful feedback from interviews. I know that Semester 2 will be here before we know it and all students will continue to strive for  academic and personal success.
I wish everyone a wonderful and safe holiday and hope you all have a well earned rest.
Next term will see many changes in the classroom especially in the class program.
I would like all students to write in their diaries during the holidays and bring a Thesaurus to class everyday. Some students have communication books. Please have them ready for next term in clip folders.
I will need parent assistance for the small group programs so if you are available, please come in and HELP! A note will go out next term. Hoping to have parent training at 9 am on Thursday 24th July.
I also hope all students catch up on their school work over the next 2 weeks so that they can enjoy their winter break.
I will miss you all but tired and old Ms P needs a holiday too!
Regards
Ms P

This Is Terribly Sad News That Happened In China

A ten year old girl was in school when the earthquake happened in China. The school building collapsed leaving her leg buried under rocks. She was left without food for two days but she still survived!Rescuers were trying to find a way to get her leg lose from the rocks but it was no use.The only way to rescue her was to cut her leg.So she had her leg cut.The girl screamed and cried with pain as her leg was cut.People commented on the internet how brave she was and they prayed to God that everything be alright and she will be ok.Lots of people cried when they heard this and felt terribly sad when they heard the news.Even adults cried! After her leg was cut, she was rushed to hospital.(sniff, sniff!)So people will need to be brave when disastrous events happen, my dad told me.You never know when those dreadful things will happen!

Deep Breathing

One of the simplest stress relief techniques is to practice deep breathing. Part of the problem with stress is that it tends to make you take shallow breaths, which in turn deprives your body of oxygen and leads to muscle tension. Taking just a minute to breath deep is one of the stress relief techniques you can do anywhere. Simply concentrate on breathing in deep enough to make your stomach rise, then let the air out slowly.

Use computer for work

Create an e-card for mum to receive on Mother’s Day.

Send Ms P an e-card that recounts your April holidays.
